With American roots and ties to the original moccasin, loafers have gained momentum in recent years. Another "no-lacing" option, loafers are the most casual style offered by a Goodyear welted shoe manufacturer such as Crockett & Jones. They are typically produced in either lined or unlined form. They are made either from a single piece of leather or in two pieces consisting of the galosh and apron.

Produced in September 2015. The 376 is a mainline last, with a high-walled round toe and tapered back. A last that is directly related to another, the 376 shares its toe shape with the 314! A development that has allowed us to improve the heel clip to produce a more fitted version of the much-loved 314, specifically for unlined loafers. An improved version of the 314 last, offering a traditional style toe shape with a sculpted heel cup for a more secure fit. Ideal for those who wish to go sockless!

The high-quality leather sole features open stitching, is dyed and waxed for protection from the elements, and is rolled, arched and pressed for a refined finish. The Burnished Calf leather, made from European calfskin from the finest tanneries, is available in rich aniline-dyed colours. Thanks to its solid tanning, this leather is built to last and, when regularly polished, will retain its durability and appearance for years to come.
